0 The Anti-Theory

Just wanna share some interesting thought on my recent discourse with Joseph Saguid.

0 Trashing the Hotel, the Celebrity-Style

The last time I've been to Shangri-La was last February this year. The hotel is such an exquisite place with a very hospitable staff. The room was so serene, though not that amazingly lavish, it is oozing with calmness and sense of luxury.

And then, John Mayer and his entourage trashed the majestic Presidential Suite with a whopping USD 8,000 worth of property damages.

John Mayer visited the country this month and it was the talk of the town. I listen to him, but I am not a fan. I think he is overrated. And this news, if ever this is absolutely true, is absolutely nerve-wracking. And so is this photo.

The EDSA Shangri-La administration released an official report that the incident is not true. Contradicting previous reports that JM had a major diva moment sounds like a defensive statement. Indeed, this will put EDSA Shangri-La in a bad situation, no matter how bad the artist is. It is because, the customer has all the right and the luxury to do whatever he wants. Nevertheless, I hope the EDSA Shangri-La hotel didn't kiss ass on this one. They should have been firm on claiming this is true and kick John Mayer's ass. Sometimes, there is this artist temperament that we need to contain if it is in the expense of respect and good conduct.

0 We don't have a direct line to God

When is the last time you prayed? Or cried? Or sulk in the corner of your room and felt helpless and alone? We all have our own share of stories about crossroads. More often we share the same emotions and we understand what each one of us is going through.

Religion is always a sensitive topic. Most people consider religion so dividing, it can even conjures war.

This week, one of the most celebrated and watched television series in the US (or maybe world) captured us once again with their line-up of musical numbers. This time - about spirituality. Let's call this episode "Grilled Cheesus"

The core of this week's episode is with Kurt's struggle to find acceptance in dealing with his father's unexpected heart attack. Kurt was so devastated that he shunned himself from the others who tried to comfort him with their faith and spiritual words.

One of the musical number that hit me right down to the core is Mercedes' rendition of Whitney Houston's "I Look to You". It was so good, it actually made me cry :'(

This episode is jam-packed with emotional scenes, so be ready with your tissues.

0 Newest Sweet Craze - Parvati Trinoma

Have you been to Parvati in Trinoma Mall lately. Well, if you are a sweet tooth and just loves sweet foods more than anything else (but diabetics, please refrain from going here, beware as this is a dessert haven), Parvati is a perfect place for you.

Located just near Conti's and Breadtalk, Parvati is a small yet well-situated sweet shop that houses some of the best house-made desserts, cakes and pastries in the metro. Parvati is just the name of the place, but it has a variety of suppliers of sweets and pastries so you really have a lots of choices and you will see different packagings and designs.

They have a great set of crew as well. They only accept cash payments as of the moment. I have tried from the selection so far the majestic and delicious "Gigi's Custaroons". An extraordinary blend of custard, cheese and the household macaroons (the coconut sensation on top).

So next time you happened to be in Trinoma, try going to Parvati! You deserve a sweet treat, but watch your calories and sugar level.

0 Youtube Daily Servings

Thank God there's Youtube. One of the greatest web invention of all time. As the rain continues to bathe the metro and my Friday night is utterly boring, I can't help but give these viral videos some of my limited attention and uncompromising opinions. Actually watching these clips is fun.

The Cebu Pacific FA Safety Instruction Guide (or dance?)

This one is a great marketing ploy. They will probably give Cebu Pacific another reason to be more popular than Philippine Airlines especially with the lower markets. It's fun, witty and can also be annoying.

Perhaps, the idea behind this is to make the idea of dying a little bit festive and enthusiastic. Like, "common, dying is fun, so let's dance our way to it". This will probably ease the tension and anxiety of those people who might be suffering a severe nervousness and paranoia of air crash.

This can be a good idea, but this can also divert the attention of the passengers. They will probably forget how to wear the mask after being entertained by the grooves and moves of the pretty flight attendants.

And of course, the "California Gurls" sound bytes is a winner! Thumbs up for that Ladies.

The 'Pustiso' Scandal

This is hilarious. I can't help but feel embarrassed for the girl. This is something that all false-teeth wearers are dreading. Listen to her as she cursed and felt the embarrassment after she realized that her false teeth fell into the ground.

The heaviest breasts of all...

Is this for real? A Germany's Got Talent contestant shows her biggest asset. I just wanna take her clothes off and see if her boobs are for real? That was just so heavy and unbearable to watch! Imagine carrying a boobs as heavy as four large-sized pumpkins, that is just a painful sight. The boobs were so heavy, she can even smash the watermelon?! That was crazy.

Whoo!

Anyway, if by any chance you want to hear me sing, I got the link. Listen, to the reason why the sky is weeping right now.

So, keep in touch later. Gonna watch Gossip Girl in a few minutes.
